ABOUT THE PROJECT
I am an interdisciplinary artist using augmented reality to expose the invisible systems of power embedded in money. My work makes the familiar strange — U.S. currency, financial symbols, and the visual language of capitalism transform into immersive portals that reveal the psychological and cultural forces we rarely question but are always obeying.
In this collection, I work across disciplines, re-visiting and re-imagining US currency symbols to explore some of the invisible forces that shape us all: the passage of time, the fragility of memory and the influence of money and power.
As an interdisciplinary artist captivated by process, I am driven by the abiding sense that something just beyond perception is pulling the strings—all of our strings. My work delves into the invisible forces that shape our lives: the passage of time, the fragility of memory, and the pervasive influence of power, money, and technology. I am particularly drawn to the liminal spaces where imagination brushes against reality.
Working fluidly across disciplines, I select the medium best suited to my inquiry and vision, whether it be installation, digital media, or immersive experiences. My fascination lies in uncovering what lies beneath—the patterns, systems, and connections we can’t see but instinctively understand. There is a kind of collective magic embedded within these hidden structures, a magic I seek to bring into focus through a technical edge and thoughtful craftsmanship.
Using the tools at my disposal, I craft experiences that invite viewers to pause—truly stop—and reflect on the unseen forces pulling, shaping, and perhaps even liberating them. My work has been featured in national and international exhibitions, earning recognition across the art and design worlds. Whether encountered in a gallery, through an app, or on an unassuming street corner, my art seeks to foster moments of introspection and wonder.
Currently, I am exploring new technologies that allow me to create artworks simultaneously familiar and entirely new. I am particularly interested in how we can use technology to blur the boundaries between real and virtual, augmenting our reality in meaningful and profound ways. My latest projects delve into virtual reality, crafting immersive environments where viewers can experience the sensation of "being there"—inhabiting the artwork as if they have stepped inside its very essence.
This exploration of the intersection between technology and art fuels my creative practice. By leveraging AR and VR technologies, I strive to craft experiences that resonate deeply, challenging perceptions and inviting audiences to reimagine their relationship with the world—both seen and unseen.
